Cloud Project Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
▪ Lead the planning and implementation of Cloud Projects including defining project scope, milestones and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
▪ Developing new project plans in consultation with stakeholders, including clients and staff.
▪ Outlining the resources required to successfully complete each project.
▪ Formulating a resource allocation strategy, and utilizing this to distribute work.
▪ Monitoring staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines.
▪ Evaluating each project's effectiveness by consulting with clients, consumers, and staff.
▪ Reporting on each project's utility upon the uptake of outputs.
▪ Consulting with the assigned Project Manager to seek guidance and input during the key phase of each project.
▪ Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to the project and develop mitigation plans.
▪ Communication Management: Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, resolve issues and ensure timeline adherence.
▪ Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain positive relationships.
Technical Expertise
▪ 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in Cloud Computing or IT Infrastructure projects
▪ Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
▪ Should have managed or have a good understanding of Cloud Migration or Modernization or Data Lake or AI/ML workloads.
▪ Bachelor’s Degree in IT background.
▪ Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
▪ Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
▪ Strong understanding of IT concepts, systems, and technologies.
▪ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
▪ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
▪ Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
▪ Experience in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is desirable.
